We invite you to join us for this evening program which will highlight insects and diseases of woody ornamentals that are of concern for the upcoming growing season. Cooperative Extension's own Dan Gilrein will be with us to discuss insect problems. The we will be able to "telecom-in" Cornell Uinversity's George Hudler on the big screen. Our 2nd annual educational event for registered LAs will feature uses and design principles of shrubs in the landscape. 3 morning lectures will be followed by a catered lunch. Visits to two local North Fork nurseries in the afternoon, will provide hands-on learning and networking opportunities. 5 Landscape Architecture continuing education credit hours will be provided.
