Benefiting Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program
“Sea Something, Save Something” is a ‘call-to-action’ art show featuring many local artists of Long Island. The purpose of the show is to raise awareness and build community around the shared goal of protecting our marine environment. The exhibition will bring together the unique members of our community who are committed to our bays, oceans, estuaries, marine ecosystems, and aquaculture. “Sea Something, Save Something” will function as a ‘pop-up’ art exhibition rotating to different venues. With an emphasis on collaboration, the show will benefit different environmental protection, research and advocacy groups. The first installation of the show will benefit Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Marine Program and take place at Castello di Borghese Vineyard and Winery on April 29th, 2017 from 6-9pm. On the evening of the opening, guests will enjoy specially priced pours of Castello Di Borgehese wines, food donated by numerous local establishments, and a special gift bag for anyone who purchases a piece of artwork or signs up for CCE’s Back to the Bays Membership Program.
The artwork will remain on display from April 29 through June 1st, 2017.
