Baby Farm Animal Weekend- RAIN OR SHINE!! No Rain Date.
Sensory-Friendly Hour is an event designed for guests on the autism
spectrum and with other sensory processing disorders. For this event, a variety
of accommodations, activities and more have been put into place to create an
inclusive, welcoming and safe space for our guests who visit the Suffolk County
Farm during Baby Farm Animal Weekend.
PRE-REGISTRATION & PRE-PAYMENT
FOR SENSORY HOUR
Limited to the First 50 Registrants.
An early opening of the Suffolk County Farm for
Sensory-Friendly Sunday guests. The gates of Farm open at 9:00 am on this day
for Sensory-Friendly Sunday guests.The
gates will open at 10 am for general admission.
A quiet area available all day at the Suffolk

A social story created by the ELIJA Foundation and
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County showing what families might
see, hear, smell, and touch.
Helpful items to bring:
Please wear close toed shoes (Open-toed shoes will NOT
be allowed in the animal areas so please dress accordingly)
