In efforts to bring together key stakeholders with interests in the potential establishment of a kelp aquaculture industry on Long Island, we invite you to attend an informational meeting on Monday December 11, 2017 from 6pm-8pm. The meeting will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension's Education Center, First Floor Conference Room, 423 Griffing Avenue, Riverhead New York.
This meeting will provide an introduction to the current status of the Peconic Estuary Kelp Aquaculture Feasibility Project (funded by the Suffolk County Water Quality Protection and Restoration Program and Land Stewardship Initiative) and provide a Q & A session with a panel of key researchers and policy makers.
