Get a behind-the-scenes tour of our new shellfish hatchery.
Check out the bioreactors in the algae room and take a look at the millions of shellfish we have growing on-site in support of the Long Island Shellfish Restoration Project, and other initiatives we are carrying out to bring back local populations of clams, oysters and scallops.
We will be conducting a Volunteer Orientation Session for anyone interested in getting involved with the Long Island Shellfish Restoration Project.
We need help maintaining clams at numerous satellite nursery sites throughout Long Island. Session begins at 11am in the classroom.
