  • Friday, September 27, 2019, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Join us as we seine for seahorses in the seagrass meadow next to our Tiana Bayside Facility! Learn about this fascinating species and their cousins, pipefish, and help us find this elusive fish to gather scientific data that will contribute to the conservation and management of the species.

Seining activity is for participants ages 8+. Younger participants are welcomed to observe but must be accompanied by an adult guardian for duration of workshop.

Learn more about our future seahorse research efforts, and more ways you can contribute to this important initiative!
