Join us for an exploration of the marine habitats surrounding our Tiana Bayside Facility, led by CCE Marine Program Educator, Hazel Wodehouse. Habitats include salt marshes, mud flats, ocean and bay beaches, and eelgrass meadows. Learn first-hand to collect and identify the sea creatures that rely on these important habitats and the important relationships between all living things, including humans, and the environment. With the knowledge and inspiration gathered from our field experiences and talks, create your own pieces of artwork with the guidance and expertise of local artist, Carolyn Munaco.
Participants should pack a lunch and wear clothing that can get wet and messy. Bring a packed lunch, bathing suit, water shoes, towel, and change of clothes.
All ages welcome, children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
