Virtual Art/Science Program
Art and Science have more in common than you might think. Both require careful observation of the world around us. Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program for a scientific and artistic exploration of some of the largest animals ever to exist on Earth, whales! Find out how and why these majestic mammals returned to the sea, learn about their diets, migrations, and what we can do to help care for them. Using inspiration from the lesson, create your own personal work of art, with guidance from local artist, Carolyn Munaco.
Program delivered over zoom, through Roger’s Memorial Library in Southampton.
Library will provide the zoom link upon registration. Kits must be picked up within the week before the program date.
