Back to the Bays Day is BACK and this year Strong’s Yacht Club will be hosting this family friendly event centered on music, art, shellfish and FUN! FREE ADMISSION!
Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Marine Meadows Program and Strong’s Marine are hosting a fundraising event on June 5th and we need your help!
The funds raised through at this community event will enable us to expand our important water quality improvement efforts, shellfish and habitat restoration projects, sustainable seafood campaigns, and youth education programming affiliated with CCE’s Back to the Bays Initiative.
The event will be free for all to attend and feature live music and art performances, fish printing and touch tanks, CCE Marine Team meet and greet stations, local shellfish to enjoy and more! The fundraising aspect of the event will include a Back to the Bays Membership Drive and Raffle as well as an auction table. All who enroll in our membership program will receive raffle tickets to our prize baskets featuring generously donated items from local businesses. We are looking for items of any value to serve as stand alone prizes or smaller valued items to be included in our baskets. We would truly appreciate any level of donation you may be able to provide!
Thank you in advance for any support you may be able to lend to our effort. Here on Eastern Long Island our local economy is very much tied to the health of our marine ecosystem, so your participation in our efforts will be helping preserve and restore our valuable marine resources.
If you are able to donate a raffle item, please fill out the attached form and contact Darci at (631) 765-7998 or firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a pick-up of your raffle item donation by 5/27/2022. We will be sure to recognize your business on the raffle display tables and during our award ceremony, and provide you with a complimentary Back to the Bays Membership Package and listing on our “Businesses Who Give Back” section of our website to recognize your support!
