Cornell Cooperative Extension‐Suffolk County is hosting a series of Farm Food Challenges throughout the Summer and Fall. The 4‐H initiative of Healthy Living is an important one in light of the increasing numbers of diabetes and obesity cases in young people. This series—part Chopped®, part Iron Chef®, part Top Chef® and part Food Network Challenge® is our answer to getting youth interested in healthy foods. The program is open to youth ages 5‐19. Join as a team or as an individual, but all individuals should be in same age range. All creations will include local ingredients. We are working with some special guest judges and are looking for exciting ways to acknowledge our youth through some fun prizes and awards!
