Camp First Aid Lead, Suffolk County Farm, Yaphank, NY
The Camp First Aid Lead is responsible for implementing all medical requirements described in the camp safety plan submitted to the Suffolk County Department of Health and insuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.
Responsibilities include reviewing, evaluating, protecting and maintaining campers’ heath records; securing and administering medicines and treatment to campers according to physicians’ orders; recording all treatment according to established procedures and reporting required incidents to local health department within 24 hours. The Camp First Aid Lead determines when a camper must receive attention from a physician or other medical professional and arranges transportation as needed.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Benefits: No health benefits
Work dates: July 1, 2019 – August 16, 2019 (July 4th holiday)
Plus REQUIRED mandatory staff training June 20 – 22, 2019
