Farm Mechanic, Suffolk County Farm, Yaphank, NY
The incumbent will repair all farm vehicles including tractors, cars, trucks and any mechanical equipment. Mechanic will also coordinate repairs, and pick up of new equipment. Regular maintenance will also be conducted.Mechanic will use a provided system to track, coordinate and facilitate annual inspections process, including records for maintenance. Assist when the Farm is in full planting or harvest season by running machinery and other farm chores.During our special events weekends (twice annually), the mechanic will be available to work the events.
