Marine Meadows Agawam Park

Time: 
1:00pm — 3:00pm
Participants will weave eelgrass shoots (harvested from healthy donor meadows in local waters) into burlap planting discs. Once assembled, these discs will be planted by SCUBA certified CCE Marine Program staff in carefully selected restoration sites in our local estuaries. Jr. Marine Biologist

Join us for fun learning at Centerport Beach as you and your child learn about the marine environment. Hands-on time with live marine animals, beach activities and crafts. A great way to introduce your child to marine ecology. $25 per child with an adult. Ages 3-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required in advance.
