STEAM Art & Science Integration

What is STEAM? STEAM is a movement championed by Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and widely adopted by institutions, corporations and individuals. Cornell Cooperative Extension has joined in this movement that aims to incorporate art and design into typical STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. Innovation is at the heart of STEM and innovation depends on creativity and problem solving, making art and design a vital component of education.
