W. Zilnicki Pumpkins: Sound Ave, Riverhead, 727-0408. (LIE Exit 73 to traffic circle, 3/4 around to N Roanoke Ave. Go to Sound Ave.) There are 2 fields, one is 1/2 mile E with pumpkins, one is 1/2 mile W with pumpkins, roasted corn and corn maze. Weekends; 9 AM to dusk.

Baiting Hollow Nurseries: Sound Ave, Calverton, 929-4327. Weekends only; 9 AM - 4:30 PM. End of September - Halloween.

Elwood Pumpkin Farm: 1500 Jericho Tpk, Huntington, 368-8626. (Northern Pkwy exit 42n, take left split on Co Rd 35, continue to Jericho Tpk. Make right turn, go about 1/2 mile, on right side.) Weekday hours vary (generally 3 - 5 PM), call ahead. Sat & Sun 10 AM - 5 PM.

Seven Ponds Orchard: 65 Seven Ponds Rd, Water Mill, 726-8015. Corn maze, roasted corn, hayrides, large wooden toys. 7 days, 9:30 AM - 6 PM. Call ahead for directions and picking availability.

Bruno's Farmstand, Wading River Rd, Manorville, 549-2029. (Exit 69S off LIE) September through the end of October.
