Never before have we opened our gates to our farm families in the way we are doing right now. Imagine having an hour on the farm with you, your loved ones and our animals. Wait, what? Yup, you read that right...private tours of one family group per session only for a limited time.
This is a unique opportunity to visit the farm for a group-tailored tour, “Your Family, Your Farm”. You’ll have one hour to explore the farm with a member of our educational staff. Longer wagon ride for your family with a brief stop in the animal yard... Yeehaw! Want to spend most of your time visiting our animals with a quick wagon ride...Cock-a-doodle-do! Good Old-Fashioned Tour...we hear you! Have it your way and make it a great day on the farm. Your group will learn about the variety of animals that reside here at the Suffolk County Farm and the special role they play. Participants will learn many fun facts about them while getting a real hands-on experience touching and feeding some of our animals followed by a tour of the farm on a tractor drawn wagon ride.
Enjoy this one hour educational workshop with your group of up to 15 people. You must reserve your tour ahead of time. Your group will park in the farm’s visitor parking lot and will be greeted by an educator. Your group will load up onto the wagon at your designated start time and at the end of your tour will be brought back to your vehicles or to your favorite spot on the Farm.
All visitors ages 2 and over must wear face coverings when within 6 feet of others outside of your group. Educational staff will be following strict safety guidelines to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Each member of your group must complete health screening and acknowledgement of risk forms prior to your tour.
Educational Farm Tours and Wagon Rides will be available seven days a week at 9 am, 10:30 am, 12 pm and 1:30 pm.
It is $50 for up to 5 people and an additional $10 for a maximum of 15 people per group.
Cancellations due to inclement weather will be rescheduled.
