We believe learning doesn’t just happen in a classroom

Children PreK-2nd grade with a caregiver. Get outside with your child and enjoy an engaging, fun and educational experience. Each four week session we will focus on a different seasonal theme.


OCTOBER

Week 1: Nocturnal Critters on the Farm - when the sun goes down, what critters come out on the farm?

Week 2: Creepy Crawler- Spiders and Insects - There are creepy crawling insects all around us, come and discover their cool hiding spots.

Week 3: The Science of Pumpkins – includes Pumpkin Picking- How does a pumpkin grow? Do they sink or Float? How much does a Pumpkin weigh? What is the biggest and smallest pumpkin we can find on the farm?

Week 4: Trick or Treat with the Animals – We all love to dress up and pretend to be someone or something else. Come show off your costume to the animals and pick up some treats along the way.

NOVEMBER

Week 1: Changing Seasons - The air is changing outside, tress are changing. Come explore the farm as we prepare for the winter. How do the animals prepare for winter?

Week 2: Dairy Delights - It’s not just cows. Learn about all the different dairy animals we have on the farm. Learn about what products we can make from their milk. Get some recipes to try at home.

Week 3: Fleece to Fiber - What animals on the farm, help to keep us warm in the colder months? Learn all about these animals and how their fleece is turned into fiber.

Week 4: Turkeys and their feathered friends. - Visit our many different birds and discover their similarities and their differences.
