Facilities Assistant, Suffolk County Farm, Yaphank, NY

Position Summary:

  • Assist with daily grounds operations including mowing, pruning, clean up and planting.
  • Assist with maintaining and repair of equipment.
  • Assist with general carpentry and building maintenance including general plumbing, electrical work and fence repair.
  • Assist with cleaning of offices, restrooms and public spaces.
  • Assist with planting, cultivating and harvesting crops as needed.
  • Accept other duties, as required.

POSITION DETAILS:

Salary: $15.30 per hour

Schedule: Non-exempt (30 hours)

Date Position Available: Position open until filled – Immediate vacancy
