Landscape Assistant

Landscape Assistant, Suffolk County Farm, Yaphank, NY

Position Summary:

Assist with ground landscaping and maintenance, i.e., lawn mowing and edging, weed whacking, hedge trimming, raking, pruning, digging, planting, light tree work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Must have the ability to safely operate landscaping equipment (i.e., lawnmower and hedge trimmer)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, inclement weather, weekend and holiday hours, depending on the demands of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with landscaping equipment.

Salary: $15.12 per hour

Hour:Temp Casual 0-20 hours per week
