Position Summary:

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk is seeking interns to assist, support and help to grow our various public education, research, and community outreach programs. To the extent possible, internship experiences will be tailored to best meet the interests and any research requirements of intern candidates.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in New York
• Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven
• Clear, precise, and compelling writing skills
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy.
• Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Hours:

The intern should be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week to the responsibilities assigned.
