In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. |

On May 5, 2020, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. People all around the world are coming together to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities at the grassroots level.
And we're asking for your help.
If you are able, consider a donation to help us continue our work in the community - preserving our county's vast heritage, protecting our eco-systems, supporting families and provide our youth opportunities to learn and grow into tomorrow's leaders.
We understand families are facing new challenges, and if you are unable to help financially, we'd love your help in furthering our mission. Share and tag us in an #unselfie via email or on social media: What does #suffolkcountystrong mean to you? You can still give back with nothing more than your time. Challenge yourself to find and pick up ten pieces of litter on a walk through your neighborhood. Plant a victory garden. Draw a rainbow for your front window to help brighten someone's day. We'd love to see and share your stories as we all work through this time together.
While we can no longer convene in person, Cornell Cooperative Extension has continued to support our local community with digital education and outreach. Click here for a full list of available programs you can join from the comfort and safety of your home.
