Sally Neumann is a retired NYS School District Administrator with a background in curriculum, instruction and technology. As part of her Master Gardener internship, Sally developed a Seven Week
“Jr. Master Gardener’s” Curriculum adopted from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. She prepared all of the course materials and taught the program to the young campers in grades K-10 at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank in the summer of 2019.

Sally is also a Master Gardener volunteer for the L.I. Dahlia Society (LIDS), in Oakdale, NY. She continues to update the catalogue and the LIDS’ brochures regularly as part of her volunteer work.

This year, Sally is volunteering as a teacher assistant and mentor to this year’s CCE Master Gardener trainees who will graduate in 2021.
