LET’s TALK PLANTS

Looking for excellent speakers on a variety of gardening topics?

Master Gardeners, trained by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Suffolk County, are informed and enthusiastic volunteers ready to inspire your group. Dedicated to serving the community, Master Gardener Volunteers are engaged in educational outreach year round. They provide timely information on the right plant for the right place as well as innovative gardening practices. Learn about Sensory Gardens, Hydrangeas, or How Tomatoes Lost their Flavor.

The CCE Community Horticulture SPEAKER SERIES, including about 40 garden related topics, are briefly described within the categories on this webpage.

Some  workshops are hands on demonstrations. Other  are PowerPoint talks with brochures or publications provided. Most presentations, offered by Master Gardeners or CCE staff members,  run about 50 minutes to an hour with time for questions and answers.

Fees are paid to CCE, Community Horticulture, in support of ongoing community outreach.

Speaker fees range from $125-$200.
