Girl Scouts Give Back to the Bays

Calling all Girl Scouts!

We invite you to get involved with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County’s Back to the Bay Initiative! Our “Girl Scouts Give Back to the Bays” program offers scouts unique opportunities to learn about, and get involved with, the marine science-based research, restoration and stewardship efforts of CCE’s Marine Program, all while earning badges in a hands-on setting at our waterfront Marine Environmental Learning Center in Southold. Programs are offered for Daisy through Ambassador level Girl Scouts.

Programs booked on site also include a tour of our newly renovated Marine Environmental Learning Center and touch tank room with live animal exhibits! If traveling is a concern, some programs can be booked for your troop’s regular meeting time and location.

For more information or to schedule a program, please contact Christine Tordahl at ct584@cornell.edu or (631) 852-8660 ext. 39.
