Job Description Summary:
As Unit Coordinator, provide leadership and guidance for a group of campers. Participate in the general planning of the camp program. Assist Camp Program Directors with program activities. Under the supervision of the Camp Program Directors, plan and conduct programs in a specific program area for 4-H summer campers. Assist with all camp program activities and other camp-wide activities as assigned. Interpret safety and health regulations. Participate in staff meetings and training events as scheduled. Provide administrative leadership for a unit of 3-6 cabins. Develop and coordinate unit activities during afternoon and evening cabin time, evening programs, meals, etc. Set goals with unit counselors and foster teamwork to achieve goals. Facilitate unit meetings to share ideas, delegate tasks, and ensure clear communication within the unit. Responsible for ensuring that all cabin members are accounted for during scheduled cabin times. Provide regular feedback to unit counselors and senior administrative staff.

POSITION DETAILS:
Salary: Starting at $5,500.00 to $7,150.00 full summer (depending on experience)
Schedule: EXEMPT – TEMP: June 9, 2024 – August 25, 2024
