Brush Strokes for the Bays painting sessions!

WHAT IS IT?

These crowd-pleasing "paint and sip" events allow guests to learn about the marine environment while creating a bay- themed work of art! Proceeds directly support CCE's Back to the Bays Stewardship Projects.

Ideal settings for this event include restaurants, wineries and breweries, or cultural centers. On the evening of the event, CCE Marine Program Educators provide a brief presentation on the topic or species at hand, and then a professional artist guides even the most novice artists in creating a work of art inspired by the presentation. We provide all materials, and can accommodate up to 30 participants. Show your patrons or friends you care about our local waters by hosting one, or a series of, Brush Strokes for the Bays Paint Nights!

Channel your inner artist and enjoy a night out with friends! Carolyn Munaco will provide the artistic guidance you need to create a marine-themed work of art to take home!

For more information, to register for an existing session, or book a Brush Strokes for the Bays Program of your own, please contact our Art + Science Educator Carolyn Munaco at cjm427@cornell.edu

Proceeds support Cornell Cooperative Extension's Back To The Bays Initiative
