Open to grades K – 6, our Winter Camp inspires youth to have fun outside while learning about agriculture, animal science, nutrition, healthy living, and life skills on a 100-year-old working farm. Rooted in the 4-H Positive Youth Development framework, our programs teach youth to use their Head, Heart, Hands and Health to foster self-esteem, teamwork and respect.
Each day will include different activities, interactions with farm animals, crafts, wagon rides and much more!

Monday – Old Fashioned Farm Fun:
Recreate farm life from the 1800s as youth dip candles, churn butter, and practice tin smithing! Learn about the essential farm animals from then and now. Help groom some farm animals and take a trip into our historic barn.
Minecraft minus the screen! We will bring Minecraft to life with activities from planting, crafting, and mining to making potions and creating pretend portals. We will visit our farm friends and incorporate them educationally. So come protect the farm from creepers and have a day away from screens!
Explore all things bird related! While we will mostly focus on our farm poultry friends, we will also explore birds kept as pets and search for and feed some wild birds foraging outside.
Spend your day participating in various crafts of your choice. From wood burning and wool felting to sewing, fort building and even rock painting. Come get those creative juices flowing!
Let’s play with food – well kind of! We will make a tasty and nutritious treat for ourselves and even for our farm animals. We will get a lesson on edible wild plants and end our yummy day with hot cider around the fire pit.
$60 per day
