Participants will help us clean the marshlands & beach of man made debris and learn about the biology and importance of marsh grasses as we discuss decreases in marshlands and the ways that CCE is working to restore them.
Removal of the litter and debris will improve water quality and habitat for fish, shellfish, shorebirds, wading birds, waterfowl, as well as rare species including the saltmarsh sparrow, diamondback terrapin and the snowy owl.
