NY Soil Health Field Day: Biochar, Compost and Building climate resiliency

Hosted by CCE Suffolk Agricultural Stewardship Program and CCE Suffolk Vegetable/Potato Program in coordination with Cornell Small Farms and NY Soil Health

This soil health field day will include discussions and demonstrations of research on various soil amendments including biochar and compost in nursery, vegetable, and vineyard production systems. We will discuss how these soil amendments can improve soil properties and build climate resiliency on farms. Summer cover crops will also be discussed.
