Have you ever seen our youth animal programs and wished you could participate yourself?
Now is your chance! Join us for Barnyard Basics, a unique hands-on program designed just for adults who want to learn about and interact with animals in ways that are typically reserved for our youth programs.
Over four sessions, participants will get up close with goats, pigs, cattle, and sheep while learning about animal behavior, nutrition, health, husbandry, and safe handling techniques. Each session will give the opportunity to build confidence working with livestock while gaining a deeper understanding of these incredible animals.
Whether you grew up around animals, have always wanted to learn more about farm life, or simply love animals and want a new experience, this program offers a rare opportunity to connect with our livestock and learn alongside our educators. Please note that this program is geared specifically for adults, and we are unable to accommodate participants under the age of 18.
