Important! The following items are not permitted at camp: cell phones or any other technology; aerosol sprays; and weapons of any kind. Be sure to clearly label your child’s belongings!
Day Campers should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing: shorts, t-shirt, either sneakers or other closed-toe shoe, and water shoes or sandals for water activities.
*Please note: Campers that come to camp without water shoes will not be permitted to participate in water activities. This is for the health and safety of our campers.
Each Day Camper should bring a backpack with the following items:
*Campers MUST bring a refillable water bottle that is clearly labeled with the camper’s name. The camp does not provide one.
**No refrigeration available. Please pack with an ice pack if necessary.
The camp is not responsible for lost or missing personal property. Do not bring expensive or irreplaceable items to camp.
If parents want their children to purchase camp clothing and souvenirs from the camp store, they must deposit money into their camper's account. Please do not bring cash to camp. Sea Adventures is not responsible for lost or stolen cash sent to camp with a camper. To add money to your campers account you can do so during registration or at any time by logging in to the registration system and clicking on the 3 lines on the left side and choosing camp store.
Each day campers will participate in a variety of educational and recreational activities offered at Sea Adventures. Not all activities are offered daily or weekly and campers are not guaranteed to experience all activities. Some activities are subject to weather conditions (e.g., boating activities).
Our marine instructors will cover a different topic every day! Don’t worry if you want to come for multiple weeks as the activities for each topic will be rotated all summer. In addition to the marine programming, the campers will have the opportunity to participate in crafts and water-based activities (kayak or SUP) throughout the week.
Inclement weather can impact camp activities. Light rain does not alter the camp schedule, but, for the safety and well-being of our campers and staff, severe weather conditions require changes in schedule and program.
When rain is heavy, campers will move under shelter and counselors will implement rainy day plans.
In emergency weather situations, such as a hurricane threat, day camp will be cancelled, and parents will be notified.
