SHADE ANNUAL DEMONSTRATION TRIAL

Shade Garden Report PicThe Shade Annual Trial was established at LIHREC in the summer of 2013 to demonstrate commonly suggested shade annual alternatives to garden impatiens (Impatiens walleriana). The goal of this trial is to serve as a resource for growers, gardeners, and landscapers seeking substitute plants for garden impatiens which are threatened by impatiens downy mildew. Project work supported by NY Farm Viability Institute (NYFVI)

You can visit the Shade Annual Trial by appointment: contact Nora Catlin, phone: 631-727-7850 x214, email:njc23@cornell.edu.
