NYPL What's Happening? Film Series: Our Waters Are Dying?
CCE Marine’s Back to the Bays Aquaculture Coordinator Kate Rossi-Snook will be featured as a guest speaker for the April installment of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts What's Happening? Film Series.
The April event will feature screenings of the restored 1976 film Baymen--Our Waters Are Dying, which addressed the threat of water pollution to the clam diggers of eastern Long Island, along with the 2022 Back to the Bays On the Water + In the Field video production. A discussion and Q+A will follow.
Doors open at 5:15pm, first come first served seating. This event is free, however advanced registration is required.
