This course is designed to supplement study for landscape professionals interested in becoming a Certified Nursery Landscape Professional (CNLP). Select topics from the CNLP Training Manual will be reviewed. Folks new to horticulture, landscape management, and nursery production are welcome and encouraged to participate even without intention of becoming a CNLP.
The CNLP exam is scheduled for March 19, 2026. You need to apply through the PlantNYS website to take the exam. Visit the “Becoming a CNLP” webpage at https://www.plantnys.org/becoming-a-cnlp to learn more. There is a separate fee for the exam which is administered by PlantNYS.
$45 per session for hybrid sessions, except for session 5 (Feb. 18) which is a full-day, in-person only workshop; the registration fee for session 5 is $65 per person.
Hybrid sessions only: the fee is $175 for those five hybrid sessions (session 5 not included).
Full course: the cost is $240 for all 6 sessions.
