Positive Parenting Video Shorts


The “Did You Know?” video series consists of 52 short, weekly videos that share facts about child development from birth through adolescence. The information in these videos can be beneficial to parents or other adults who care for or work with children. Understanding behavior at various stages of development can increase family harmony and wellness.

Family Wellness Tips uses evidence-based information to support people in the important but sometimes difficult job of staying well and healthy. The goal of Family Wellness Tips is to provide information on nutrition, wellness and health. We hope to help inspire positive changes towards better health in our listeners everyday lives.

"Parenting Tips" provides current research-based information from Cornell University and other American land grant institutions. In today's world, parenting is rewarding as well as challenging. "Parenting Tips" supports parents and other caregivers by translating timely child development research into practical and helpful information to support family health and wellness.

Tucked away on our 250 acre working historic farm, you will find our Nature Explore Classroom, lined with 50 feet tall arborvitaes on one side and flowering cherry trees on the other. Our classroom allows plenty of messy play, building, and interactive art exploration while maintaining a true farm feeling.

The Community Education Program provides educational resources to meet the concerns of Long Islanders, whether in diabetes or weight management, nutrition, the challenges of choosing the most healthful foods on a budget, or parenting and family well-being.
