On the Water + In the Field is a news magazine show produced by Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program that seeks to educate the public on current projects, issues, and research pertaining to our marine environment. The episode to be screened at this event features stories covering topics including shellfish and habitat restoration, integrative art + science efforts, hard clam research, and our Back to the Bays collaboration with the Town of Shelter Island and local partners including Sylvester Manor Educational Farm!
2023's Screening Party is Hosted by Sylvestor Manor
Guests will be invited to mingle with CCE staff and collaborators featured in the show prior to the screening, while enjoying complimentary appetizers and wine. There is no charge for admission but we would highly appreciate your consideration of a donation of any level in support of the expansion of our Shelter Island Back to the Bays Stewardship Site! Your donation will help us continue the integral bay scallop, hard clam, oyster, and eelgrass restoration efforts we are conducting in local waters, and the stewardship and involvement opportunities we are able to offer the public to help give back to our bays!
Free! Please register and consider a donation to support our project expansion efforts
