Brian serves as the Regional Director of External Affairs at National Grid, leading strategic engagement with government officials, business leaders, community stakeholders, and labor. In this role, Brian advocates for the company's interests, clean energy objectives, equitable community investments, and the advancement of essential infrastructure projects to support customers across Long Island.

Prior to joining National Grid, Brian dedicated nearly a decade to government and political work at the State, County, and Federal levels. Notably, he served as a Regional Representative to the 56th Governor of New York State and the New York State Department of Labor. Additionally, he held positions such as Chief of Staff to Suffolk County Legislator Bill Lindsay III, Legislative Affairs and Communications Aide to the Suffolk County Executive’s Office and worked on several highly contested local and congressional campaigns.

As the Regional Director at National Grid, Brian has successfully advanced critical capital projects and navigated regulatory and permitting challenges. He has also been instrumental in fostering community relations to advance National Grid’s goals and clean energy investments. Notable projects include the Northwest Nassau Reliability Project; the advancement of Project C, National Grid's latest community investment initiative; the implementation of Remote-Control Valves for storm resiliency; five critical winter operations facilities throughout Nassau & Suffolk; and enhancements to internal and external policies and procedures to enhance the company’s reputation.

Brian led the approval of a significant partnership with the Town of Hempstead for the HyGrid Project, an innovative green hydrogen initiative. This project contributes to National Grid’s commitment towards a fossil free network, focused on resiliency and reliability. Brian remains actively engaged with local community organizations, business and labor leaders, and elected officials to drive forward clean energy initiatives.

Furthermore, Brian serves as a Board Member on the Long Island Housing Partnership; Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Community Advisory Council; Vision Long Island, and St. Joseph’s University’s Alumni Board.. He also serves on the United Way’s Project Warmth Committee.

Brian holds an Executive M.B.A. from St. Joseph’s University and a Bachelor's Degree from St. Joseph's College. In addition, he earned a Graduate Marketing Certificate from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business.

Brian currently lives in Patchogue with his wife and two sons.
