Climate Friendly Homes Fund (CFHF) - Administered by The Community Preservation Corporation , the CFHF provides financing for existing, 5-50 unit buildings in New York State with a focus on replacing older and less energy-efficient systems with all-electric, high-performance heating, cooling, and hot water heating systems. Grant awards are up to $25,000 per unit.

ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® Benchmarking - The first step to saving your building energy is to benchmark — or measure and compare your building’s energy to similar buildings, past consumption, or a reference performance level. Portfolio Manager is an interactive resource management tool that enables you to benchmark the energy use of any type of building, all in a secure online environment.

Enterprise Community’s Green Funding and Resources for New York Affordable Multifamily Housing Resource - This guide was created to inform affordable multifamily housing owners of available financing programs and to help identify those that would be most appropriate for their properties. The guide centers on programs that are primarily focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization measures.

NYSERDA’s Multifamily Building Solutions - NYSERDA’s Multifamily Building Solutions Provider Network is comprised of energy professionals who are experienced at implementing multifamily building projects that bring buildings to peak performance. Speak with a Provider to discuss what kind of upgrades make sense for your building and business.

NYSERDA Affordable Solar and Storage Predevelopment and Technical Assistance - Provides grants up to $200,000 for the implementation and operation of solar and/or energy storage installations benefiting affordable housing and/or community-led solar installations that will offer benefits to low-to-moderate income households. Grant applicants may include multifamily affordable housing providers, community organizations or agencies, and technical service providers (such as in energy, legal, or finance) working in partnership with any of these entities.

NYSERDA Community Heat Pump Systems - Funding opportunities are available to help college campuses, large medical facilities, and residential real estate developers determine if a ground source or geothermal heat pump system is a good option for their current buildings or future projects.

PSEG Energy Check for Multi-family Homes - By scheduling a free Energy Check multi-family properties, property managers and owners can help residents reduce their home energy expenses by lowering per-unit utility costs can go a long way toward increasing resident satisfaction and enhancing the livability of your building. PSEG Long Island EV Make Ready Program - Offers incentives for the infrastructure needed to power Level 2 and DCFC across Long Island. This program is available for all commercial customers including Multi-Unit Dwellings, Retail/Offices, Parking Facilities/Lots, and more.

  • Any Level 2 projects that propose the minimum number of two (2) ports, will only be eligible for the maximum incentive of $20,000 or less.
  • For projects that have 3 or more ports, the maximum incentive will be $30,000 or less.

The level of the incentive depends upon the power rating of the DCFC facility and the configuration of plugs associated with the charging equipment.

PSEG Long Island DC Fast Charge Program - Designed to encourage the installation of DCFC equipment to mitigate EV purchasing anxiety.Incentive recipients will receive an annual per plug payout, payable at the end of each 12-month anniversary. The level of the incentive depends upon the power rating of the DCFC facility and the configuration of plugs associated with the charging equipment.
